Tire and Tube Pre-Buff Cleaner
Buffer rubber cleaner AXIOM® A9606 is recommended for use when carrying out repairs on damaged tyres and inner tubes. The product helps to prepare the surface of the rubber article for bonding to a high standard, which significantly increases the strength and durability of the adhesive joint. It effectively degreases and cleans the rubber surface and also helps to soften it and give the repair area the required roughness.
- Recommended for use at a temperature of not less than +10°C.
- Where possible, remove coarse contamination from the surface to be treated mechanically.
- Apply the product to the repair area and leave it to act for 20-30 seconds.
- Remove the dirty softened rubber layer with a scraper.
- It is recommended to start bonding immediately after the degreaser has evaporated from the working surfaces. This will prevent dust from settling and fresh contamination from forming.
