Rubber Pre-Buff Cleaner and Degreaser
The AXIOM® A9106 universal buffer degreaser is recommended for use when carrying out repair work on damaged tyres and inner tubes.
The product helps to prepare the surface of the rubber article for bonding to a high standard, which significantly increases the strength and durability of the bonded joint.
It effectively degreases and cleans the rubber surface and also helps to soften it and give it the necessary roughness at the repair site. In addition, the product is suitable for degreasing the surface of the wheel before bonding a self-adhesive balance weight.
- Where possible, remove coarse contamination from the surface to be treated mechanically.
- Apply the product to the surface to be treated with a clean rag and leave it to act for 20-30 seconds.
- Remove the dirty softened rubber layer with a scraper.
- It is recommended to start bonding immediately after the degreaser has evaporated from the working surfaces. This will prevent dust from settling and fresh contamination from forming.
