Two-Step Engine Decarbonizing Kit
Professional product for cleaning the combustion chamber, pistons and piston rings of tar and coke deposits. It is also suitable for cleaning carbon deposits from intake and exhaust manifolds, EGR valves and turbochargers.
The 2K foaming combustion chamber and valve cleaner AXIOM® A9608 (decoking) consists of two components: K1 A9608K1 Foaming combustion chamber and valve cleaner, K2 A9608K2 Foam neutraliser. Engine cleaner.
K1. The foaming combustion chamber and valve cleaner, when sprayed, produces abundant foam, which allows the whole cylinder surface to be wetted with the product. The active cleaning components in the formulation excellently soften and remove ingrained carbon deposits, tars and other soiling; corrosion inhibitors protect the metal from the aggressive action of combustion products.

K2. The foam neutraliser is used after K1 (art. A9608K1) and is intended for removing the already softened combustion products. It binds the dissolved soiling particles and prevents them from settling again on the surfaces being cleaned.
Properties

- It contains highly effective lubricating additives that protect the engine from increased friction during the first start.
- It prevents wear of the mechanical components.
Use of K1
- Warm the engine up to operating temperature.
- Switch off the ignition system. Unscrew the spark plugs (petrol engine), the injectors or glow plugs (diesel engine).
- Turning the crankshaft, set all the pistons to the middle position.
- Shake can K1 well before use (FOR AT LEAST 1 MINUTE).
- Using the extension probe, spray K1 into the cylinders until they are completely filled with foam.
- After 15 minutes, fill the chamber with the product again.
- Repeat the previous step.
- Let the product act for a further 30 minutes.
- Remove the spent products from the combustion chamber using a syringe with an extension hose or a special tool.
- After pumping out K1 apply K2.
Use of K2
- Shake can K2 well.
- Using the extension probe, spray K2 for 10 seconds over the entire height of the cylinder to prevent contamination particles from settling after the use of K1.
- Remove the spent products from the combustion chamber using a syringe with an extension tube or a special tool.
- Shake can K2 well again and repeat steps 2–3.
- Cover the spark plug wells with wipes or rags to protect the engine compartment from spatter of the product, and crank the starter for 10 seconds.
- Refit the plugs (injectors) in place and restore the ignition system.
- Change the oil and the filter in the engine.
- Start the engine and let it run at idle for 10–15 minutes.
Attention! Use with caution on engines with considerable wear and a high degree of contamination! Do not use for longer than the recommended time! For best results, use at an ambient temperature of not below +10°C. Do not turn the cans spray head down!
