Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner
Professional cleaner for the sensing element of the mass air flow sensor (MAF sensor) AXIOM® A9607. It gently and quickly removes all kinds of soiling: tars, carbon deposits, oil and other deposits. Suitable for petrol and diesel engines. Safe for plastics, it evaporates quickly and does not damage sensors made of any materials: platinum, semiconductor film and others.
Regular cleaning of the MAF sensor preserves engine power, improves starting, normalises fuel consumption, reduces exhaust toxicity and lowers the likelihood of an expensive sensor replacement. It is recommended to clean the sensor at the scheduled air filter replacement 2–3 times a year or when problems arise in the operation of the engine.
- Stop the engine.
- Disconnect the power connector and remove the MAF sensor from the engine.
- Shake the can vigorously before use.
- Using the extension tube, spray the cleaner onto the sensing element of the sensor and let the loosened contamination drain off. Avoid touching the sensor elements with hands or tools.
- Dry the MAF sensor completely before fitting.
Attention! Before use, check compatibility with the plastic on the outer parts of the sensor housing!
