Engine Starting Fluid
It ensures the easy and quick starting of petrol and diesel engines at low temperatures, high humidity and poor fuel quality.
It reduces the load on the ignition system and the battery. AXIOM® quick start fluid is used in passenger cars and trucks, buses, tractors and construction machinery.
It can be used for the first start after long storage of scooters, mopeds, quad bikes and snowmobiles, as well as garden machinery (chainsaws, lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, etc.).
Attention! Use on a running engine is prohibited. To avoid backfiring, do not start the engine with the air filter removed. Do not use on engines with electric flame air preheating.
- Shake the can well before use.
- To start petrol engines, spray the product for 2–3 seconds into the air filter or into the intake manifold and start the engine.
- To start diesel engines, switch off the glow plugs and the heated flanges, open the throttle, spray the product for 1–2 seconds into the intake manifold, refit the air filter and start the engine.
- If unsuccessful, repeat the process once or twice with a break of 2–3 minutes.
To diagnose the fuel system, spray the product into the intake manifold. If immediately afterwards the engine fires when cranked by the starter and runs smoothly for a few seconds after starting, without misfiring, the fuel system is faulty.
Check the fuel filter, the fuel line, the injector, the carburettor valves and jets, the fuel pump, etc. If there is no reaction at all after several injection attempts, the cause must be looked for in the ignition system, the valve timing mechanism, etc.
