Gas Leak Detector
A high-quality product developed specially for locating suspected leak points. Where there is a leak, the formulation starts to bubble on the surface. The product is non-toxic. Designed for locating leaks in pneumatic systems filled with compressed air and also with compressed gases.
Gas leak detector AXIOM® A9651 can be used when repairing pipelines made of steel, copper or plastic. Used in the temperature range from 10°C to 50°C.
- Shake the can thoroughly. Apply the product from a distance of 15–20 cm to the required area of the surface.
- The leak point is easy to identify because the product starts to foam at that spot.
- If no leak is found in the area being repaired, the search must be continued over the whole system.
- Once the leak has been found, remove the excess product from the surface and carry out the appropriate repair.
- To make sure the repair carried out is effective, apply the product to the repaired area again.
Attention! The leak detector is not recommended for use in systems with pure oxygen, chlorine and other strong oxidising agents. It is not recommended for use in cases where the temperature of the parts exceeds 60°C.
