Air Brake System Antifreeze
It removes moisture and prevents the formation of ice in the pneumatic brake systems of trucks, buses and construction, agricultural and special-purpose machinery.
The antifreeze for pneumatic brakes AXIOM® A9158 contains a package of lubricating and anti-corrosion additives that reliably protect all units of the pneumatic system from corrosion. It prevents freezing, lubricates and keeps the pneumatic valves clean and preserves the elasticity of rubber seals and hoses. Thanks to its high hygroscopicity it reliably binds condensate and moisture, ensuring stable operation of the brakes at any ambient temperature.
- Check the fluid level in the water separator reservoir.
- In accordance with the instructions for the brake system, add the required amount of antifreeze to the water separator reservoir.
- To avoid leaks, the tightness and serviceability of all connections must be checked.
- For the air brakes to work effectively, the antifreeze must be changed at least twice a year.
- During severe frosts it is recommended to change the antifreeze every 24 hours.
