Tacky Water-Soluble Spray Booth Coating
The tacky water-soluble transparent protective coating for spray booth walls AXIOM® A4530 effectively traps paint particles, dust and overspray, preventing contamination of the surfaces being painted. When it loses its tackiness, the coating is easily washed off with water using a sponge and applied again.
- Soluble in water, easy to apply and remove;
- Does not affect light transmission, suitable for protecting light fittings and transparent elements;
- Contains no toxic substances;
- Requires no drying.
- Mix thoroughly before use.
- When applying to the wall surfaces of booths, they must first be cleaned, so that a uniform and strong film is formed.
- Use only on surfaces that are not damaged.
- Not suitable for use in booths with galvanised and steel walls.
- For safety reasons, application of the protective coating to electrical circuits, cables, devices and the like must be avoided.
- The coating is applied to the walls of the spray booth with a roller, brush or spray gun (nozzle 1.8–2.2 mm) until a uniform, fully covered surface is obtained.
- When applying with a spray gun, the product can be thinned with water to obtain the required consistency (depending on the nozzle size). The maximum permissible ratio when thinning with water is 1:1. When thinned with water, apply in several coats until the required coating thickness is obtained. Coverage: 1 litre of undiluted coating per 7–10 m².
- If tackiness is lost, wash the coating off with water and apply it again.
- Under high-temperature conditions (from +60°C), it is recommended to renew the coating monthly in order to maintain its transparency and sufficient tackiness.
