EPIAN CORR PROF OIL 2K Epoxy Primer

Two-component epoxy primer consisting of the primer base (component A) and the hardener (component B). The primer base is a suspension of pigments, fillers and functional additives in a solution of epoxy resin in organic solvents. Supplied as a set: component A (AI20E1-X), component B (AI04E1H), thinner (AI05ET).

Field of application

• for the anti-corrosion protection of metal structures during construction and repair that are operated under the aggressive effects of an industrial atmosphere and in sea and fresh water;
• used as a priming layer in various multi-coat systems;
• can be used as a stand-alone coating or as a repair coating (compatible with most types of old paint coatings);
• tolerant of surface preparation, including surfaces with residual rust — preparation grade Sa 2, St 2 is permitted;
• has high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals (splashes of mineral and vegetable oils, paraffins, aliphatic petroleum products and moderately aggressive chemicals, etc.);
• can be applied in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures — from minus 10°C.
