DECOPRO ZN 1K Zinc-Rich Primer

Net weight – 27 kg (dark grey) and 30 kg (grey).
Colour – dark grey, non-standardised grey.

The high-quality professional primer with a high content of finely dispersed zinc is designed for priming ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. The primer coating provides good adhesion strength and corrosion protection.

A non-sagging layer with a dry film thickness of 120 µm can be applied.
Withstands temperature variation from –45 to +60°C.

Field of application.

• for painting metal surfaces, tanks, metal structures for various purposes and mechanical engineering products;
• long-term retention of the protective and decorative properties of the coating;
• excellent resistance to mechanical and abrasive action;
• high weather resistance;
• can be used as a stand-alone coating or as a repair coating (compatible with most types of old paint coatings);
• can be applied to galvanised and aluminium surfaces and to chrysotile-cement and fibre-cement boards;
• has high chemical resistance to a wide range of chemicals (splashes of mineral and vegetable oils, paraffins, aliphatic petroleum products and moderately aggressive chemicals, etc.);
• can be applied in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures (from –10°C);
• withstands heating up to +120°C.
