Color Match Inspection Spray
The AXIOM® A9694 control spray is intended for comparing samples when matching the colour of automotive enamels and for revealing irregularities in the surfaces being painted before and after sanding. After application it retains the gloss effect of fresh clearcoat for a long time and makes it possible to compare and match automotive enamel to a high standard, as well as to detect any defects in the surface being painted.
- For best results the compound should be applied at an ambient temperature of not less than +10°C.
- Before use, shake the can vigorously for 2–3 minutes.
- Apply from a distance of 15–20 cm onto the surface until gloss appears and the required gloss level is reached.
Colour comparison. Spray onto the base coat to create a temporary gloss. Compare the colour of the sample with the vehicle paintwork. It is recommended to apply the control spray to the enamel sample and to the vehicle at the same time in order to obtain the best effect. If necessary, wipe with a cloth after comparison.
Revealing unevenness during sanding. Apply the control spray to the sanding area to create a temporary gloss and inspect the surface for defects. After the check, wipe with a cloth and degrease before further painting.
