2K Epoxy Primer, 3:1
Professional 2K epoxy primer for preparing surfaces of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as glass-fibre reinforced plastics, for painting. It creates reliable anti-corrosion protection for metal parts.
Thanks to its excellent adhesion, the epoxy primer 3:1 AXIOM® A4175 promotes strong bonding of the main coating to the surface being painted. It sands easily and makes it possible to obtain a perfect surface quickly, without pores, unevenness or scratches. Suitable substrates: polyester fillers, mild and stainless steel, wood, plywood, plastics. Priming over old paint coatings is permitted. It can be painted with any kinds of enamels.
It is used as
- an anti-corrosion primer,
- a levelling primer,
- a “wet-on-wet” primer.

- Do not apply over old thermoplastic coatings and phosphating primers!
- For best results, use at a temperature of not below +10°C.
- Before priming, the substrates must be cleaned, dried, degreased and dry sanded with abrasive material (P80 ➡ P320, depending on the substrate being painted).

- Drying between coats – 10-15 minutes at 20°C.
- Subsequent treatment: acrylic primers, basecoat and 2K enamels. Dry sanding with P320 ➡ P500 abrasive material. Wet sanding P600 ➡ P1000.
