1K Plastic Adhesion Promoter
The professional 1K plastic primer (adhesion promoter) AXIOM® A9676-1 is intended for preparing for painting the external and internal parts made of all kinds of plastics used in the manufacture of bumpers, wings, bonnets, decorative trims and other plastic components of a vehicle.
It provides excellent adhesion strength, which is necessary for reliable bonding of the paint coating to the plastic surface being painted. It is suitable for priming and painting with any kinds of primers and enamels.
The characteristic gloss of the material makes it possible to control the application area and the priming thickness.
- To avoid aerosol overspray marks, it is recommended to protect the surfaces that are not to be primed.
- For best results, the primer should be applied at a temperature of not below +10°C.
- Before use, shake the can vigorously for 1–2 minutes.
- Before treatment, plastic surfaces must be cleaned, dried and degreased. For degreasing, A9690 “Degreaser. Silicone remover” is recommended.
- Apply the primer from a distance of 25–30 cm in an even coat. Drying time 20 minutes at a temperature of +20°C.
