Automotive refinish one-component matt black acrylic enamel AXIOM® A4151 is designed for painting previously primed surfaces such as vehicle sills, door, mirror and wiper frames, and also for tuning and painting any add-on equipment, etc.
Weather-resistant, for interior and exterior finishing. Can be used as an automotive basecoat in a two-layer «base plus clearcoat» painting system.
It can subsequently be overcoated with clearcoat to achieve the required gloss level.
- For best results, use at a temperature of not below +10°C.
- Before painting, the surfaces must be cleaned, dried, degreased, primed and dry sanded with P320 ➡ P400, P500 ➡ P600 abrasive material, dedusted and degreased.
- Adjust to the required viscosity, if necessary.
- Use universal thinners for acrylic paints and coatings or for basecoat enamels.
- Equipment for application:
Spray gun type Nozzle, mm Pressure, bar Low pressure (HVLP, LPH and others) 1.2-1.5 1.8-2.0 - Apply in 2-3 coats.
- Drying between coats: 5 minutes at 20°C.
- Subsequent coatings: a clearcoat may be applied to give the required gloss level.
